Lt. Esosa Ehanire cited for outstanding service
China Grove police Lt. Esosa Ehanire (right) is congratulated by China Grove police Chief Ralph Sramek Aug. 20 upon receiving the Outstanding Service Award at the Texas Department of Transportation’s 2025 Traffic Safety Conference in Austin. Ehanire, recognized for exceptional dedication and service in law enforcement, was one of only six police officers in the state to receive an award at the conference and was selected for the Outstanding Service Award out of 243 nominees from throughout the state.
