Editor: Re: “Democrats had no choice but to leave” August 20 I must respond to Jennifer “JJ” Dominguez’ letter lauding the Democrats who deserted their posts to deny quorum for the Special Session. It was grandstanding on all levels, and the most curious part of all of the discussion is how the Democrats have already conceded the five additional gerrymandered districts to the Republicans.
