World War II U.S. Navy veteran Robert “Brad” Bradley, 101-1/2, is thrilled Aug. 19 as he receives a Quilt of Honor, surrounded by (l-r) his wife, Madelyn; Debbie Puente of La Vernia, a volunteer at the Frank M. Tejeda Texas State Veterans Home in Floresville; and Debbie Hayes of Von Ormy, president and procurement officer with Quilts of Honor Texas.
