Best use of the military

Editor: Trump’s recent executive order directing the training and equipping of a specialized National Guard unit for domestic deployment represents an inappropriate use of our military. There is no insurrection or widespread domestic threat to justify such a measure. The National Guard should never be placed in a position where it could be ordered to harm U.S. civilians.
