County Democrats to host Rep. Vikki Goodwin Sept. 18
The Wilson County Democratic Party will welcome State Rep. Vikki Goodwin on Thursday, Sept. 18, at 6:30 p.m. in the Wilson County Justice Center courtroom, located at 800 10th St. (U.S. 181) in Floresville. Goodwin, who is serving her fourth term in the Texas Legislature, represents parts of Austin and the Lake Travis area, and is currently running for lieutenant governor of Texas. She is a passionate supporter of Texas public schools and has steadfastly voted against vouchers.
