Learn about Stressed Trees Sept. 17 in La Vernia

The Wilson County Beautification Association (WCBA) invites the community to learn more about protecting the trees in Central Texas on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 6:15 p.m., at Rabel’s Roadhouse in La Vernia. Rachel Sarlis, a certified arborist and San Antonio Regional Urban Ecologist with Texas A&M Forest Service, will present “Current Stress Factors Affecting Central Texas Trees.” The program will focus on what is killing the region’s trees and how to protect them.
