Safely patrolling for their peers

Coach Charles Steen is proudly sponsoring Salado Elementary’s Safety Patrol program, open to both fourth- and fifth-grade students. Safety patrols play an important role in keeping the school running smoothly — helping at crosswalks, guiding students at the bus circle, and assisting during arrival and dismissal. Along the way, they’re building leadership skills and serving as positive role models for their peers.
