Wilson County remembers Charlie Kirk

A crowd of about 300 Wilson County community members gathers Sept. 13 in the La Vernia City Park, for a candlelight vigil honoring conservative speaker Charlie Kirk, 31, who was shot and killed Sept. 10 while speaking to college students in Utah. The gathering Saturday evening in La Vernia was initiated by a community member and attended by all ages, including a number of families.
