Doctor’s bills and medical costs are mounting quickly for Johnie Joe Nieto of Floresville. Recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, the rural mail carrier’s life has suddenly become a round of medical appointments and treatments, with chemotherapy starting soon. To help him meet the rising costs associated with his diagnosis and treatment, his niece, Amanda Rangel, set up a GoFundMe, inviting friends and community members to help Nieto in his time of need.
