Museum offers film series on Native American history

The Briscoe Western Art Museum will offer “Gather” on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 1:30-4 p.m., as part of its Native American Film Series, “The Modern Era,” showcasing a selection of unique films that feature original and diverse indigenous stories. Local community activist and curator of the series Matthew Davila (Standing Rock Dakota) will lead a short presentation before the film. Admission is free, but guests must register at bit.ly/3Vz7L2l.
