Deputies nab wanted felon after pursuit

FLORESVILLE — A San Antonio man faces multiple charges — including evading arrest with a motor vehicle — after he led officers with multiple agencies on a high-speed chase Sept. 19 from the La Vernia area to Floresville. According to Deputy Zach Garcia, public information officer with the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office, the agency was notified Friday evening around 8:30 p.m. by the San Antonio Police Department that they had followed a wanted felon from their jurisdiction; the individual was traveling through northeastern Wilson County in a black 2012 Toyota Camry.
