COURT UPDATE

The following defendants were among those listed on recent dockets for the 81st District Court in Wilson County: •Richard A. Zuniga, 27, of La Vernia originally pled guilty to a lesser charge of indecency with a child by exposure, from the original charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child, after allegedly assaulting a girl younger than 14 in March 2021; he was sentenced Oct. 29, 2024, to 10 years of deferred adjudication-community supervision.
