Streets to close for Peanut Festival

As excitement builds for the 81st annual Floresville Peanut Festival, anyone planning to visit downtown Floresville the week of Oct. 6 may want to plan alternate routes for navigating the area. Sections of a number of streets will be closed beginning Wednesday, Oct. 8, when the carnival sets up to provide rides and activities the next evening, and stages, tents, and food vendors will start setting up the morning of Friday, Oct. 10.
