Connect to others in the Body of Christ

Editor: We all need community — that place one feels is their spiritual family. Here is accountability, as well as support, strengthening, and serving. This isn’t merely attending but connecting. Alas, some might attend [church] for spiritual “entertainment,” satisfying that “I attend” sentiment. Proof you are part of a spiritual family is that undeniable personal reaching out, connecting you to them and them to you. Not the pastoral staff/elders, but fellow attenders like yourself — the Body of Christ linked together as one. It is shocking to see that relationships built in the pews are about as supportive as friends...
