What? FHS had male cheerleaders?

I was recently repairing the binding on a 1952 Floresville High School yearbook for a friend. When flipping through the pages, I came upon a picture of six cheerleaders. Without looking at the picture in detail, I looked at the names to see if I might know any of them and came upon the name Milton Zidek — my barber in my younger years.
