Castroville man faces charges after 100-mph chase on U.S. 181 north

A Castroville man is facing charges of evading arrest, after he led local law-enforcement personnel on a 100-mph chase north of Floresville Saturday. The Wilson County Sheriff’s Office was notified Oct. 4 at approximately 12:08 p.m. of a stolen Ford F-250 which had entered Wilson County. Deputy Steve Peña located the vehicle near the Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union in Floresville and attempted to conduct a traffic stop.
