East Central team places second in Electrathon in Kansas

A team member signals “all systems go” as the East Central High School Electrathon team competes in the High Plains Electrathon, held recently in Hays, Kansas. East Central’s team and vehicle, Stinger, were in first place right up until the last 15 minutes of the second heat, when they were lapped by a Kansas team. The East Central contingent took second place, coming in only 28 seconds, half a lap, behind the first-place team. The East Central team was back in action Oct. 11 at Medina Valley High School in Medina Valley.
