Dominguez returns from Ghana

U.S. Navy Seabee DiAna N. Dominguez, a Floresville native and a Floresville High School graduate, recently returned to her home base of Gulfport, Miss., after completing her overseas assignment in Accra, the capital of Ghana. Her assignment in Ghana was to build an elementary school as a part of a humanitarian mission. She received a commendation for her outstanding work as a Navy Seabee. For more than 75 years, the Seabees have been the U.S. Navy’s construction force, building bases, airfields, and more, and providing engineering and construction support for civic projects around the globe.
