Free after-school meals for Floresville ISD students

Have you heard? All Floresville Independent School District students can now receive an after-school meal, absolutely free. Superintendent Jason Gilstrap announced during the Sept. 8 school board meeting that the district has been approved for the Adult Care Food Program, also known as the Dinner Program through the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Service. The program offers meals to students for 30 minutes after dismissal at the end of the school day.
