Friends of NRA puts down roots in Wilson County; first event Oct. 18

A Friends of NRA committee has officially formed in Wilson County. The 501(c)3 organization is a grassroots program that fundraises for the National Rifle Association of America (NRA). Donna DeLarm and her husband, Gene — who manage the Wilson County 4-H Shooting Clubs — were inspired by the youth in Wilson County to ensure that youth and others in the area have access to safe, educational shooting programs. “That’s why we created this committee,” Donna explained. “We wanted to give back.
