Wilson County home to first Texas chapter of Combat Veterans International
Retired U.S. Navy torpedoman Marshall Quen of Adkins (left) receives his Combat Veterans International patch July 19, alongside Frank “Beans” Laux and Wilson County Combat Veteran Laurie Creek (right) after a national motorcycle run through the Cascade Mountains in Washington state. Reception of the patch by Quen and Creek marks the establishment of the first Texas chapter of Combat Veterans International right here in Wilson County, with Quen as president and Creek as vice president.
