District 1 firefighters visit Stockdale Elementary
Students at Stockdale Elementary School learn about firefighting and first responders from Wilson County District 1 Fire & Rescue personnel, during an Oct. 1 visit to the campus for Fire Prevention Week. District 1 Fire provides fire, rescue, and first responder services to all of eastern Wilson County, including the cities of Stockdale and La Vernia; property taxes assessed by Wilson County Emergency Services District 1 help support the services.
