Lady Mustangs fight their way into playoff position

The Nixon-Smiley Lady Mustang volleyball team is hitting its stride at just the right time, earning key victories over Luling and Karnes City, twice each, to climb into fourth place in District as the playoff race heats up. While postseason qualification is still up in the air, the Lady Mustangs have positioned themselves well with their late-season surge and determined play.
