Volunteers clean up China Grove creek bed

Volunteers work hard Sept. 25 to remove vegetation and trash from a creek bed crossed over by Triple Tree Drive in China Grove. The four-hour cleanup effort, taken to preclude a future drainage problem, involved at least 15 conscientious citizens and filled up two large dumpsters.
