Fire claims home north of Floresville

A home north of Floresville has been deemed a complete loss, following a fire last Thursday morning. Wilson County District 2 Emergency Services, assisted by three other agencies, responded to reports of a structure fire Oct. 23 in the 100 block of Little Creek Drive, off U.S. 181 several miles north of Floresville, at approximately 7:30 a.m. “We found the structure fully involved upon arrival,” District 2 Chief Alex Lopez told the Wilson County News.
