Elmendorf railroad collection grows

A large railroad car arrived in Elmendorf Oct. 7, not accompanied by the whistle of an engine or the clickety-clack of metal wheels, but transported on the back of a flatbed trailer. The move was accomplished by Dodson House Moving from the company’s location on Southwest Loop 410 near S.H. 16 in San Antonio. According to San Antonio Railroad Heritage Museum President Gary Rodriguez, the job took only about an hour and a half.
