Jaguars close season as Area Champions
The Floresville Jaguars kicked off the week with an exciting 3-0 win over the Lago Vista Vikings Nov. 3, securing the Area Championship title. On Nov. 6, their impressive 11-game winning streak came to an end, falling to the Calallen Wildcats 3–2 in the Regional Semifinals round of playoffs. The Jaguars fought hard to extend their postseason run, but Calallen’s defense proved too much to overcome. The Jaguars closed the season as District, Bi-District, and Area Champions, 33-14 overall and 12-0 in District.
