[Video below] FLORESVILLE — The vicinity around Pecan Park may be considered a business and commercial district in the near future, pending approval by the Floresville City Council. The city’s Planning and Zoning Committee met Nov. 5 to consider an amendment to the Future Land Use Plan, which would identify three properties in the park’s vicinity “in one case from civic institutional to commercial, and in the other cases from single-family residential to commercial,” according to Planning and Zoning attorney Jon James of Denton, Navarro, Rodriguez, Bernal, Santee, & Zech, P.C.
