Voters elect Schellhase to Floresville school board

Floresville voters have elected Terrell “Terry” Schellhase to the Floresville Independent School District (ISD) board of trustees, District 2. In the Nov. 4 election, four candidates vied for election to single member District 2, including Schellhase, Larry G. Jones III, David A. Nieto, and Bonna Reed, who represented single member District 2 since 2019. Schellhase came out ahead in a close race with a total of 137 votes, followed by Nieto with 92, Reed with 88, and Jones with 58. “I want to give a special shoutout to everyone who bothered to go vote,” Schellhase told the Wilson County News....
