Editor: Re: “Hiding the facts on hunger,” Nov. 5 I take issue with the “Hiding the facts on hunger” letter in the Nov. 5 issue. The author states that they have testified in Washington and Austin for federally funded nutrition programs. I am disturbed that the author is more than willing to reach into my pocket for more money. Already one in 8 people get SNAP benefits. How many more should get them?
