La Vernia Lady Bears head to State
The La Vernia Lady Bears volleyball team members celebrate their State Semifinal Championship win Nov. 15 over Bellville. The Lady Bears’ 3-0 win over the Brahmanettes secured their appearance in the final four of State competition on Friday, Nov. 21. La Vernia will face Decatur in the 4A Division I State Championship game, at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland at 4 p.m. Watch for playoff updates at wilsoncountynews.com.
