Motorcyclist dies in crash on U.S. 181

An Elmendorf man has been identified as the victim of a two-vehicle crash Nov. 21 on U.S. 181 north of Floresville, a little north of F.M. 775. According to Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Highway Patrol Staff Sgt. Orlando De Luna Jr., Joseph Anthony Reyes, 19, of Elmendorf, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Reyes was the driver of a 2023 Kawasaki motorcycle, traveling north on U.S. 181 last Friday at approximately 8:30 a.m. His vehicle collided into the rear of a 2024 Lexus SUV in the 7900 block of U.S. 181 north of F.M. 775, De Luna said....
