Charges dismissed in human smuggling case

All charges have been dismissed in a human smuggling case against 28-year-old Jose Anibal Giron. Giron was originally indicted in March 2022 on eight counts of smuggling of persons causing severe bodily injury or death, (See “Argentina native indicted for ‘bailout’ near McCoy” March 30, 2022, Wilson County News).
