Book on how David Crockett died wins Indie Book Award

David Crockett Went Down Fighting: How We Know It, authored by Alamo history researchers Phil Guarnieri and Richard L. Range, has been named a winner of the 2025 Best Indie Book Award. The Best Indie Book Award is an annual, international literary award contest recognizing independent authors; entries are limited to independently published books, including those from very small presses and self-published authors.
