Helton Nature Park event helps Girl Scouts learn to 'Be Prepared, Not Scared'

If you were wandering around Helton Park Saturday, Nov. 8, you might have been surprised. More than 100 middle school to high school Girl Scouts were there for a unique training experience aptly titled, “Be Prepared, Not Scared.” The event was made possible by the San Antonio River Authority and the Order of the Silver Trefoil, an alumnae organization in the Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas (GSSWT) Council.
