Friends of NRA launches Wilson County committee

The Wilson County Area Friends of NRA committee held a fundraising event Oct. 18 at the La Vernia Chamber of Commerce Hall. The 501(c)3 organization is a grassroots program that fundraises for the National Rifle Association of America (NRA), which works to preserve the Second Amendment. The Oct. 18 event offered area residents an opportunity to learn about the organization, while enjoying a night of auctions, prize drawings, firearms, and fun.
