Floresville Tiger basketball competes in Wildcat Classic
The Floresville varsity Tigers competed in the Wildcat Classic tournament at Gregory-Portland Dec. 11-13. The team finished 3-2 overall. Results from Dec. 11: •fell to Cole, 43-44 •fell to Victoria West, 51- 59 Results from Dec. 12: •def. Rio Grande City, 63-35 •def. Flour Bluff, 48-45 Results from Dec. 13: •def. Gregory-Portland, 47-36 Senior Sammy Rodriguez (11) received the All-Tournament selection. Congratulations! The Tigers traveled to take on Harlandale Dec. 19 and will start District games by hosting Carrizo Springs on Jan. 2.
