Stockdale 4-H'ers give back

Stockdale 4-H Club has been busy this holiday season. So far, club members: •Filled seven Samaritan’s Purse boxes •Sold over 400 poinsettias •Listened to a presentation on Stop the Bleed from Mr. Dukas with Leo and Lily, the stuffed animals •And stocked the Caring Closet at Stockdale High School. Our next meeting is Wednesday, Jan. 14, at 7 p.m. at the Christ Methodist Church in Stockdale; our community service is conversation starter socks for Triumphant Warrior, a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing joy to cancer patients across the United States through the gift of fun socks.
