FELPS improves payment transaction security

The Floresville Electric Light & Power System (FELPS) will no longer accept payments over the phone. Based on new federal requirements by the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard — which guides standards to protect payment account data — the utility will only accept in-person payments or online through the payment portal.
