Police chase ends in Nixon

A La Vernia man is facing multiple charges after leading Wilson County Sheriff’s Office deputies on a chase that ended in Nixon. Officers attempted Dec. 18 to conduct a traffic stop on a motorcycle near the intersection of U.S. 87 and Cibolo Way near La Vernia. The operator of the vehicle, Bradley Hodges, 39, of La Vernia, allegedly failed to stop, ignoring emergency lights and sirens; he continued eastward on U.S. 87 with deputies from the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office, Stockdale Marshal’s Office, and Nixon Police Department in pursuit.
