Eighty-year-old Rose Holcombe says she never realized how significant the Floresville Food Pantry & Resource Center would become to the community. What began as a small clothing and food distribution in 2012 for about seven families in Floresville has led to the creation of a 501(c)3 weekly food distribution, which has served upwards of 500 people in Wilson County, under the loving directorship of the one and only Rose Holcombe.
