Floresville, La Vernia athletes earn Blue Bell/TSWA All-State Volleyball honors
A Floresville student-athlete and three from La Vernia have been named to the Blue Bell/Texas Sports Writers Association (TSWA) Class 4A All-State Volleyball Team for the 2025 season. Voting was conducted by TSWA members based on nominations from coaches and media members from around the state. La Vernia First Team — Outside hitter Paisley Pavliska Second Team — Outside hitter Avery Keck Honorable Mention — Libero/Defensive Specialist Karis Carpenter. Floresville Honorable Mention — Middle Blocker Makenna Hertless. Congratulations to these amazing local athletes on this recognition!
