Enter, enjoy quilt viewing Jan. 31 in La Vernia
Join fellow quilters and admirers at the La Vernia United Methodist Church Quilt Viewing Show, on Saturday, Jan. 31, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at 210 Bluebonnet Road in La Vernia. Plan to submit your quilt for the show on Friday, Jan. 30, from 3-7 p.m. Judging starts at 9 a.m. Saturday, with categories including Best in Show, Best Hand Quilted, Most Creative, Best Machine Quilted, and many more. Ribbons will be awarded. The event is free. The La Vernia UMC is seeking volunteers to check in quilts on Jan. 31. For more information, contact Linda Saidler at LSaidler@att.net.
