Wilson County unemployment rate decreases to 3.9 percent: jobs report

Workforce Solutions Alamo reports the November 2025 unadjusted unemployment rate for Wilson County is 3.9 percent, decreasing from 4.0 percent in September 2025. Wilson County’s November rate is lower than the 4.0 percent unemployment rate for the 13-county Workforce Development Area, including Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Comal, Frio, Gillespie, Guadalupe, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, McMullen, Medina, and Wilson counties, and lower than the 4.2 percent unemployment rate for the state of Texas. Currently, there are 1,048 people actively looking and available for work in the county.
