Katherine Johns is taking the stage for the first time in nearly two decades. Readers may recall Katherine and Brandon Johns’ story from the July 2, 2025 article, “Keeping up with the Johnses.” The two were just entering their first months of retirement from a combined 61 years of teaching. As Floresville South Elementary School’s beloved music teacher of 27 years, Katherine is no stranger to performance.
