Trail ride 'royalty' continues timeless tradition

As the start of the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo nears, trail ride groups from across South Central Texas are making their way to the annual event, with three of the organizations traveling to San Antonio via Wilson County. Prepare to welcome the trail riders on area roads and highways — from Falls City to Floresville, Nixon to Stockdale and Sutherland Springs, and La Vernia to Adkins and China Grove — as they trek on horses and mules, with chuck wagons and trailers, sharing their longtime traditions with a new generation.
