[Video below] “[Water] is one of the most complicated controversial issues that we ever ought to face,” Dr. Darrell Brownlow said during a presentation Feb. 17 to the Wilson County Economic Development Corp. (EDC). Brownlow, who earned his PhD in geosciences from Texas Tech University, has been involved with water planning and representing Wilson County and the South Central Texas region for about 30 years. He serves as president of the Evergreen Underground Water Conservation District (UWCD) board, which manages water resources, including the Carrizo-Wilcox Aquifer for Atascosa, Frio, Karnes, and Wilson counties.
