Wilson County Fire Marshal: No outdoor burning Feb. 26, due to high fire danger

Portions of South Central Texas are under a Red Flag Warning today, Feb. 26, as breezy north wind, dry air, and dry fuels will lead to critical and near-critical fire weather conditions. Wilson County is in near-critical fire danger conditions. Any fires that develop could be difficult to control and spread rapidly. Area residents are encouraged to avoid any outdoor activities that could inadvertently cause wildfires.
