NEW COUNTY EXPO ARENA TAKES SHAPE

Metal framework continues to go up March 2 for the future Wilson County Expo Arena, adjacent to the Wilson County Expo and Community Center on S.H. 97, just east of Floresville. The arena — part of a .2 million project to expand the original site, using American Rescue Plan Act Funds — was designed to stand 175 feet by 276 feet, and could potentially house livestock shows and rodeos, car shows, concerts, and other events.
