Expo arena collapse won't affect March 7 household hazardous waste collection

The collapse March 4 of the metal framing for the new arena at the Wilson County Expo and Community Center in Floresville will not affect the household hazardous waste collection scheduled for Saturday, March 7, at the expo center. According to county officials, the waste collection event hosted by the San Antonio River Authority will be held as planned and will take place on the side of the community center farthest from the construction site.
